Alina Rose Makeup and Hair Artist

Alina Stout is a New York and New Jersey based artist specializing in Beauty for productions and events, as well as character design and special effects. From an early age she was interested in characters from movies and how they were created. She was fascinated by the work that went into doing hair and make up to create and transform someone who was preparing  to go on the red carpet or to play a supernatural character for a movie. She watched behind the scenes and time lapse of how they got actors into their character makeup in awe of the process and design that went into it.

She found it comforting and therapeutic to sit at her  vanity and create looks or to just do her daily makeup routine. She found happiness in helping others with their hair and makeup especially when hired to do someone's hair and makeup  for an event. She worked on makeup at every chance she got. Her love for theater and performing gave her an opportunity to work on hair and makeup for and abundant number of shows. 

    Her love for performance and her interest in makeup design lead her to attend a special effects class at Make-up Designory over the summer for one week. After that she realized she had a passion  for creating and working in makeup. She then attended the Master Media Program for six months at Make-Up Designory. It was during this intense training that she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots and designed a range of characters. 

    She looks forward to evolving and refining her art and learning more  as she continues to work in New York and New Jersey. She wants to fulfill her goal of  one day working on a Broadway Production in New York. She continues to seek out opportunities and jobs.
